The perfect stool feels like coming home — it’s comfortable, stylish, and beckons a guest to be seated. That’s what William Diamond had in mind when he created the Rolf stool in partnership with renowned interior designer Eilish Rickard.
They knew that a wide, rolled back and extra-thick seat would be important, but they also envisaged a slim profile that would complement a traditional or contemporary table beautifully.
For more than two years, William and Eilish worked alongside Portuguese designers to create the perfect stool, going through four full iterations before the final version —˛the ‘Rolf’ — was revealed. Their efforts were rewarded with this remarkable stool , a testament to the unique designs and unrivalled quality of the Custom range.
Every Rolf Stool is handcrafted to order, so that means it’s completely customisable, with an astonishing 6,500 variations available. Customers can choose from a wide variety of fabrics, colours, and finishes, right down to contrasting piping and optional brass caps to complete the elegant legs.
Built to cater for everyday needs as well as special occasion events, the Rolf stool combines a substantial, sturdy feel with a graceful silhouette that is the final word in sophistication.

Products from our CUSTOM COLLECTION will usually take a little longer as they will be manufactured specifically for you.
Our delivery team will assemble all dining tables and sofas on the day of delivery. Any other items may be assembled on a chargeable basis (this needs to be booked and paid for in advance with our delivery office)*
If your home is a new build not yet completed or where building works are still taking place or for any other reason you are not in a position for your goods to be assembled you will forfeit this service as we cannot call back at a later date to do so.
Charges apply for removal of your old furniture, this must be prebooked and paid for before your delivery date. Ask a member of staff for current prices.
